The Blacklist Season 8

The Blacklist is an American crime thriller television series. It debuted on NBC on September 23, 2013. 

Jon Bokenkamp is the creator of the series. The Blacklist is one of the most famous television series of the decade. The series followed a cult fandom on its debut. Looking at the success of the series, the producers and the creators, already released seven seasons of the series.

The latest seventh series of the Blacklist premiered on October 4, 2019. The yielders proclaimed the resurrection of the set for the eighth time on February 20, 2020.

The Blacklist Season 8 Plot:

The story revolves around the protagonist of the series, Raymond “Red” Reddington. Red Reddington is a former US Naval Intelligence. He disappears for twenty years and makes himself on the list of FBI’s most wanted criminals. Red later surrenders himself to Harold Cooper, the director of the FBI. No one knows why! He gets transferred to an FBI black site to get prosecuted for his crime. On his way to the site, he tells Cooper that he can help the FBI in tracking down the criminals and the terrorist he has been associating, from the past 20 years.

In exchange, he demands from Cooper, immunity from prosecution, and that he wants to work with the new rookie working with Cooper, Elizabeth Keen. Red helps the FBI in apprehending one of the terrorists in their Black List. In each season, Red is helping the FBI in pursuing some notorious terrorist or criminal. The mystery of Red working with Elizabeth and helping the FBI comes out slowly as the series progresses.

The Blacklist gets renewed for 8th Season:

The series is one of the best criminal based television series. The producers announced the renewal of the Blacklist for the eighth season on February 20, 2020. There is no confirmation on the dates of the release though. We can expect the season to come out sometime in 2021.
