The Conjuring Season 3

The Conjuring Season 3

The third installment of the “The Conjuring” series will happen. The name for the conjuring part three is “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”. Micheal Chaves will be directing it. The screenplay of this upcoming supernatural horror movie will be written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. The production work of this movie is a result of the joint effort of Peter Safran and James Wan. The third part will be a sequel of the Conjuring 2, which was released back in 2016. The very first Conjuring film had come out in 2013. This film will also serve as the eighth part when you consider the Conjuring universe as a whole. Just like the previous films, the actors will be back to play the roles of paranormal investigators. The Conjuring part 3 is inspired by the case of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, whose trial was held in 1981.

The third film for the franchise was being discussed since 2016. It was finally announced in 2017 that a film was in development. This movie was supposed to release this year, in September to be precise, but the coronavirus messed with the schedule.

When will the third part release?

The original release date was 11th September but it was not deemed safe to release this film. In the middle of a pandemic, the film will not attract any moviegoers at all and many theatres aren’t even open. So instead, the movie is bumped into a new release date. It will be released on 4th June 2021. Warner Bros. has chosen to release it like that instead of releasing it on an online platform like HBO Max. That move might have also made it easy for the people to indulge in the pirated version. Ther is no risk of this if it is released in the theatres. The Conjuring series has been popular with the audiences so there will still be a crowd for it next year.
