The Croods A New Age

For its next film ‘The Croods: A New Age’, DreamWorks has released a teaser.

The Trailer begins with the character of Emma Stone, Eep, and the Crood’s family. It introduces the prehistoric family in their search for the perfect place to call ‘home’. Soon they will discover an idyllic paradise that meets their needs.

Not long ago, the Betterman’s welcomed the Crood and introduced them to their ‘modern lives’. But, tensions arise soon and when everything seemed lost, a new threat would propel both families into an adventure. In order to embrace their differences, draw strength from each other, and build together a future.

When will ‘The Croods: A New Age’ hit the cinemas?

Although most Hollywood started changing release dates into 2021, Dreamworks did the opposite. They moved the sequel to ‘Croods’ to 25 November.

It was a long way to develop the sequel. The production started with a release date on 3 November 2017, two years after the first film’s release. And, onboard the production was set for Chris Sanders and Kirk DeMicco. Dates continued to change and Dreamworks announced in November 2016 that the film would be canceled. An animated sequel with Crawford was announced to be directed back in production in 2017.

Universal Shifts DreamWorks Animation Pic to Thanksgiving Frame.

The move demonstrates the studio’s trust that Disney will move Pixar’s Soul from the Thanksgiving stretch according to recent reports. And on the same weekend as MGM’s No Time to Die, the soul will still make its debut on 20 November.

Here is the interesting proposal with The Croods: a New Age: Universal’s new shortened theatre / pvod windows with AMC will give you two lucrative holidays. Thanksgiving at the theatre, and Christmas, in PVOD homes, to make money with the Dreamwork Animation feature. However, this is not a definite plan, since films are unpredictable during the pandemic. But, if it happens, it would not be surprising.
