It’s based on the characters from the computer game named Cuphead, which is an animated series based on the computer game called Cuphead. It will allocate experience of Cuphead and Mugham across Inkwell Isle, appraising the areas and characters beyond those in the video game. The children are being targeted by this series and the studio MDHR also predicted that they are going to include humor and joke for adult audience fondness.

The series is going to be animated and it’ll not be completed as the video game is using normal pen and paper that might take too long to finalize, but it will be starring hand-drawn characters and actions. Voice cast in the series includes Tru Valentino as Cuphead, Frank Todaro as Mugham, Joe Hanna as Elder Kettle, Grey Griffin as Ms. Chalice, and Luke Millington- Drake’s as The Devil.

When will ‘The Cuphead show’ be released?

No confirmed release date for the show has been announced yet. However, the series made its first debut at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on June 15, 2020, and could be released in 2021 on Netflix. The show was initially released in 2020 but was delayed. It is still unknown why but it could be because the show was simply not ready yet or because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In July 2019, it was announced that Netflix had given permission to the series for a run of at least ten episodes. Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will be the executive producer from Studio MDHR along with CJ Kettler from King Features Syndicate. Co-executive producers will be Dave Wasson and Cosmo Segurson. While Adam Paloian and Clay Morron will be the supervising directors. Four out of 10 episodes have been leaked without any permission from Studio MDHR or Netflix on 25th June. It is still unknown who stole these animatics or if any action will be taken. However, the Cuphead video game is available to play on Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
