Mike Flanagan has created this supernatural horror drama Ffor the global streaming platform Netflix. The drama web series will be inspired by the story of “The Turn of the Screw”. That novella is written by American author Henry James. It was published way back in 1898.
This upcoming drama will be acting as a follow-up series to the popular show “The Haunting of The Hill House”. Many people who worked for that show will be returning to work for this upcoming series. But the Bly Manor will not depend on that show for its plot continuation as it will not have any common narratives. The production of this series was started on 30th September 2019.
The onset of the month of October is precedence for the spooky season and along with it will come many scary shows to binge-watch. That is not to say that this year doesn’t have enough horrors of its own. The pandemic is still continuing to take lives and wreaking havoc. The actor said that the filming was done by February of this year. This is indeed lucky as the series were done with their work before the mess of COVID-19 happened.
