The Order Season 2

Spine chilling horror American series The Order premiered on March 7, 2019, on Netflix. Dennis Heaton is the creator of the TV horror series and Shelley Erikson, Jennica Harper, Jason Filiatrault, Penny Gummerson along Dennis Heaton are the writers of the story and the screenplay.

Season 1 of The Order received positive remarks from almost every critic and the audience loved it. Netflix announced the renewal of the second season in March 2019 with 10 episodes.


The story follows a freshman at Belgrave University, Jack Morton. Jack joins a dark occult society, Order of Blue Rose. Order of Blue Rose is a secret society that teaches occult practices and black magic. 

The reason behind Jack Morton joining the Order is to avenge the death of her mother and to punish his father whom he holds responsible for the death of her mother. But, Jack is unaware of the powers of the Order. The Order has its nemesis, the Knight’s of St. Christopher. This is the sacred brotherhood of werewolves, who are sworn to fight against the black magic and occult.

Soon as Jack digs deeper into the history of the Order, he finds a strange connection of the Order with his family. Soon, before he knows it, he finds himself in between the battle of the Knights of St. Christopher and the witches and wizards of the Order.

Season 2, Ending explained:

As we go through season 1, we meet the protagonist, and his quest to avenge her mother’s death and to punish his father. He comes in the contact with a secret society of occult and dark magic, hidden in his prestigious college.

In season 1 we can see the investigation Jack carries out to dig out the strange secret related to the Order and his family. During this quest, Alyssa Drake wipes off Jack’s memory and the series ends in a cliffhanger.

In season 2, it will be interesting to see what will happen to Jack after his memory being wiped off completely. The Order star Sarah Grey previously revealed that there is going to be a lot of humourous element in the second season. She also hinted about Alyssa feeling bad about wiping out Jack’s memory and coming together with him.

Also in the second season, the finale ends with the death of Salvador. As Vera kills Salvador, Alyssa leaves the Order and joins Praxis and takes over as a leader. Alyssa strips Vera off her superpowers after Vera murders Salvadore. The second season for the Order is all set to release on June 18, 2020.
