Netflix is on a mission to gather content from across the globe and present it to the audience. For quite a time, Netflix is bringing us entertainment without any language barrier. One of such international content is The Protector.
The Protector is a Turkish drama fantasy web series, directed by Can Evrenol, Umut Aral and Gönenç Uyanık. Binnur Karaevli is the creator of the series.
The first season premiered on December 14, 2018, on Netflix. After it received due appreciation, the second season premiered on April 26, 2019. Recently, the third season of The Protector hit Netflix on March 6, 2020.
All three seasons do not have a uniform number of episodes. The first season has 10 episodes, the second season holds 8, and the third owns 7 episodes.
The Protector stars Çağatay Ulusoy and Ayça Ayşin Turan. The story is about Hakan. Hakan is a young shopkeeper, who is living a perfect life in Istanbul. His life takes a plunge when his adoptive father Neşet is killed.
Hakan carries out self-investigation to link his father’s murder. Later, he finds out that he is one of the ancient order, whose duty is to save the city from all the dangers.
Now, he must embrace this reality instead of running away from it.
He later embraces his family’s legacy of being a protector to save the city. His main mission is to kill immortal, who plans to destroy the whole city. But, he is not alone in this. Kemal and his daughter Zeynep, who are the members of the secret order, join Hakan and help him in his quest of defeating Immortal and saving the city.
The Protector S4:
The streaming platform, Netflix announced the renewal of the fourth installment of the series on June 10, 2019.
The fourth season, completed the post-production earlier this year and is on schedule for its release. It will release on July 9, 2020. It is also said to be the last part of The Protector series.
