The show is the adaptation of the novel of the same name by Kirsten Smith. Trinkets did equitably well on screen. The critics gave average reviews to the show. It scored 7.1/10 on Rotten Tomatoes. Trinkets Season 2 Plot

Elodie Davis is a socially uncomfortable teenager. She is a kleptomaniac. Elodie moves from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Portland to start her new life with her father. Moe Truax is an academically excellent teenager. But, her family suffers from financial issues. She is remarkably faithful to her mother, and her father moves away.
Tabitha Foster is yet another kleptomaniac. She fights with her existence to make everyone happy. Tabitha is from a wealthy family.
Elodie, Moe, and Tabitha meet at a random Shoplifters Anonymous meeting. They immediately develop bonds and become best friends. Though all three have different personalities and backgrounds, one thing is common. They all have a habit of shoplifting.
