Electric Cars: India has indeed moved ahead with its technology. May it is for development or to save the environment, electric cars are surely the country’s future. With the tremendous hike in fuel prices, it will be wise to opt for electric ones. With Tata launching Tata Nexon and its success in the market, all other automobile industries have jump-started to make their own electric cars. And seems like is the year for electric vehicles.

Below is the list of all the upcoming electric cars in India:

1.Mahindra eKUV100 (December 2021)

Mahindra has officially unveiled the eKUV100 electric vehicle (EV) in India, with a starting price of Rs 8.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The KUV100 small SUV-based EV is powered by a 15.9kWh liquid-cooled battery with a stated range of 147km. One of the new features is linked car technology, which automatically adjusts the setting of the air conditioning before getting into the car. This is one of the most inexpensive EVs on the market in India, competing with the Mahindra eVerito and the Tata Tigor EV.

2. Mercedes-Benz EQA (October 2021)

EQA is the nickname of Mercedes-new EQ’s entry-level model in the all-electric market. The electro-aesthetics of its form are reminiscent of the Mercedes-EQ brand’s Progressive Elegance. Virtual devices aid the driver in a variety of ways, including avoidance maneuvers, predictive and therefore highly efficient driving plans, and Navigation with Electric Intelligence.

3. Audi e-Tron GT (March 2020)

Audi has unveiled the e-Tron GT, first-ever all-electric Gran Turismo, as well as the RS e-Tron GT, the company’s first-ever vehicle. Both versions include two motors and a 95kWh battery. It keeps the bulk of the design characteristics from its design project. It has a broad grille (which can be shut for better aerodynamics), LED headlights with X-shaped DRLs that can be updated to Matrix Laser units, and linked rear LED tail lamps.

4. Maruti Suzuki Futuro-e (February 2022)

Maruti Suzuki India debuted the Futuro-e concept at the 2020 Auto Expo. It is an all-electric SUV convertible that will be used as a design study by the automaker. The specifics of the powertrain are yet unknown. The Futuro-prospects e’s of going into production anytime soon are slim.
