Criminal Minds Season 16 Release Date: Updated or Canceled?

The premiere of the 15th season of “Criminal Minds” on January 8, 2020 on CBS and ends on February 19, 2020. The fifteenth episode consists of ten episodes, each of which is approximately 42 minutes long. Fans are waiting for another season since its completion. Unfortunately, when the network announced its 15th season update in January 2019, it announced that this would be the show’s final appearance. The decision to end the series came from showrunner Erica Messer.

Messer considered ending the plot with season 14, but the last ten episodes gave him the chance to finish the series the way he wanted. Erika Messer said she always wanted the show to end with “happy tears.” He was grateful to the entire team that came together as a family and wanted to capture that feeling in the last episode of the show. He said his character, who parted ways with a lot of love and respect, felt like the “right way”. Thus, “Criminal Minds” season 16 was officially canceled.
