About The Show
Each Holiday Baking Championship season consists of six to eight episodes. Each episode consists of two acts, the first act is called the “Preliminary Team” and the second act is called the “Main Team”.
In “Preheat”, participants are required to make cupcakes which usually have a festive theme. Cupcakes and cakes should focus on a broad topic like Hanukkah or New Year’s, or even a more specific topic that involves making a Christmas tree with cookies or making items that depict Christmas carols.
After this round, the judges select the winner, who then proceeds to the next round with additional benefits. These benefits can include the ability to swap ingredients or flavors, or ask visiting Backstar for help within minutes.
In the “Main Heat” round, competitors have more time than in the first half. You need to make a bigger dessert that goes back to the theme of the festive episode. Usually, in the middle of this circle, the baker suddenly gets a turnaround that forces them to change their current method of incorporating the change into their plans.
In the end, the best actor of the season will be declared the winner and he will take home a prize of $ 25,000. He was also named “Holiday Baking Champion”. Season 7 will more or less stay in the same format, with some changes to gameplay made.
