World Trigger has sold over 1.2 million copies and is an anime adaptation of the Japanese manga series of the same name by writer and artist Daisuke Ashihara. World Trigger Season 2, known as WorTri, was released during Jump Fest 2020. The revelation comes with a new teaser visual and premium visuals.

Based on the manga series an anime adaptation was produced by Toei Animation Studio organized by Morio Hatano. The series composition will be designed by writer Hiroyuki Yoshino. While the characters will be designed by artist Toshihisa Kaiya, who will play alongside Kenji Kawai’s music.
Season 2 has been rumored to be released in July 2020. However, due to the sudden Coronavirus attack, the release date will be badly affected and therefore Season 2 has been postponed. It is now confirmed that World Trigger Season 2 will be releasing and coming out sometime in 2021.
