In The Dark’ Season 2

In the Dark is an American comedy-drama television series. Corinne Kingsbury is the creator of the series. The series premiered on April 4, 2019, on The CW. The show holds an approval rating of 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. The series did not receive very positive reviews from the critics. The reports were moreover mixed. After the release of the first season, the creators immediately announced the renewal of the series for two more seasons.

The series received critical remarks over casting actual disabled actors over the normal actors.

Plot:

The plot of “In the Dark” revolves around Murphy. She is a bloke with a knack of alcohol and one-night stands. The only issue is that she is blind. She lives with her two friends, Jess and Tyson. Tysen is a drug-dealer who once saved her from getting robbed. One day, when Murphy goes out for a walk with her guide dog, she stumbles over a corpse. Since Tyson goes missing a few days earlier, she assumes that the body is of Tyson’s.

She calls the police, but to her surprise, the body disappears before the police arrive at the scene. Now Murphy has to solve the mystery of her friend missing. Is he dead? If he is dead then who killed him and why would anyone kill him? She gets deep into solve these questions on her own. Apart from solving the mystery of her missing friend, Tyson, she has to juggle with her personal life as well.

In the Dark Season 2:

In the Dark will also get premiered on Netflix. The first episode of In the Dark released on April 16, 2020. The season is almost at the end. But, a couple of episodes are yet to hit the screen. The season will conclude by July 9, 2020. The series will be on Netflix after the eight days of the airing of the final episodes. Accordingly, if everything goes right, the season will come on Netflix on 17 July 2020.
