Rebecca

Rebecca is the forthcoming British Romantic thriller movie. It is directed by Ben Wheatly from a script by Jane Goldman, Anna Waterhouse, and Joe Shrapnel. The film is based on the 1938 novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier.

The film is produced by Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan, and Nira Park. Multiple genres are being covered by the film but the director Wheatly described “Rebecca” as a love story, first and foremost.

When will the film be released?

Netflix’s fans need not any fear as the film Rebecca is scheduled to be released in selected theatres and on Netflix on 21 October 2020. In November 2018 it was declared openly that Lily James and Armie Hammer were the cast in the film. While Netflix will Disseminate. On June 3rd, 2019 the filming began. Cranborne Manor in Dorset was used for filming in July 201. And at the end of July Filming took place at Hartland Quay in Devon.

The Plotline of the Film:

The film pursues a newly married woman (James) as she comes to the English mansion of her wealthy husband Maxim de Winter (Hammer). A hurricane of romance goes wrong after she is haunted by the ghost of his dead first wife, Rebecca whose birthright is kept alive by the sinister housekeeper Mrs. Danvers ( Kristin Scott Thomas). James was forced to battle the shadow of the unusual and dead Rebecca whose birthright continues to haunt the house. Guiding problems of love, class, deception, and jealousy she grows from a frightened girl into an empowered woman.
