The fifth anime series in the WIXOSS franchise, WIXOSS DIVA (A) LIVE, is an original anime series. It is planned to start airing in January 2021. As it continues to grow more popular, the tale moves around the ‘Wixoss’ card game to the online virtual space of “Wixossland.”

The game allows players themselves to become LRIG avatars. 


Saya Fukuzumi as Hirana Asu, chief of the ‘No Limit’ avatar-themed diva troupe. Since early life, the first-year-high school student has applauded the renowned starlet, “Mugen Shojo,” and has dared to dream of becoming the top diva ever since. Shizuku Hoshinoya knows more about Wixoss than most, like Akino Onko, a member of ‘No Limit, ‘ and, after some persuasion, followed Hirana into the Diva Battle.

Haruka Shiraishi as Rei Sakigake, a No-Limit member. In her school, she is a class representative and is usually seen as a silent genius, but within her, she hides a secret passion, which she unveils to great length in Wixossland

The crew behind the anime and more 

The J.C. anime is directed by Masato Matsune (Chaos Dragon, Chronos Ruler). Staff, supervised by Tsuyoshi Tamai with series scripts (episode scripts for WIXOSS merged with Lostorage). The visual concept design and original character designs are credited to NC Empire, and Ui Shigure is credited with the character designs of the anime. The audio director is Yoshinori Saito, and Maiko Iuchi returns to compose the music from the franchise’s previous anime. 

In April 2018, Lostorage merged with WIXOSS, the most recent television anime series in the franchise. Crunchyroll broadcasted the show as it aired in Japan. 

The WIXOSS (pronounced, ‘wi-cross‘) card game was launched by toy and game maker Takara Tomy in April 2014. The Selector affected Wixoss anime series also aired that month, followed by a second season, Selector Spread Wixoss, in October that same year. Then, in February 2016, the Selector Destructed Wixoss anime film opened in Japan. In October 2016, WIXOSS anime was initiated by the 12-episode Lostorage, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
