Wizards Tales of Arcadia
Mexican filmmaker and author, Guillermo del Toro created a science fantasy series called Tales of Arcadia for Netflix. DreamWorks Animation and Double Dare You have produced the series. The series became quite popular and was nominated for many awards and even got numerous accolades. It is a trilogy series. The first and the second installment are called Trollhunters and 3Below respectively.
Wizards Tales of Arcadia About?
The series is centered around the inhabitants of a suburban town called Arcadia Oaks. The place is the hidden home for many supernatural creatures. Not only them, but the Arcadia Oaks also has young heroes who fight against evil forces lurking in the dark. In Trollhunters, the viewers got to see James Lake Jr, who was the first human to become a troll hunter. He had the duty to protect the trolls who lived in the Trollmarket. He was also in charge of the protection of the humans living in the surface world.
In 3Below, the story was about Aja and Krel. They were royal siblings who had to abandon their home planet (Akiridion-5). Val Morando took over their planet and as a result, they had to escape to planet Earth.
In Wizards, the young heroes get involved in a time-bending adventure to Camelot. This will lead to an epic battle deciding who gets to control the magic. The winners of the battle will also determine the fate of supernatural worlds.
When will it come out?
According to updates, the third and final part will be on Netflix in August 2020. It was supposed to release in 2019, but that never materialized. According to Guillermo del Toro, the show is almost complete. Variety has revealed that the exact date is the 7th of August. This one season will have to tie up all Arcadia origins and mythology. It can be expected that this final season will be action-packed and viewers will not be disappointed. The earlier characters from Trollhunters and 3Below will probably be back for the third party. But they will operate in an entirely new environment (which happens to be an old one – Camelot). The season will only have ten episodes. Guggenheim and Chad Hammes will serve as executive producers alongside del Toro.
