Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro have created the sitcom series called “Young Sheldon”. It airs on the CBS network. Fans will know that this show is a spin-off of the incredibly popular show “The Big Bang Theory” and “Young Sheldon” mostly deals with the younger version of Sheldon Cooper. The show starts with featuring a young Sheldon at age nine when he lives with his family in East Texas. The actor who played Sheldon in the Big Bang series, Jim Parsons, is the narrator of the “Young Sheldon” show.
The development of this show began back in 2016 when Jim Parsons pitched the idea to the producers of the Big Bang Theory. The show had a special preview in 2017 and after that preview, the CBS decided to run with the series. Till now, there are 3 seasons with a total of 65 episodes. Each episode is about 22 minutes. The team of executive producers of this show includes Jim Parsons, Steven Molaro, Todd Spiewak, and Chuck Lorre. This show is quite enjoyable and it tells the audience a familiar story in a fresh manner.
Sheldon Cooper might be the most lovable genius there is on television and his fans are already enquiring about the next season. Season three was completed this year in April. Season four might get made too. Young Sheldon is a pretty successful show and it is expected that the network will continue with this series. But the pandemic has interfered with the schedule of the show, and it has had an ill impact on season 3 of Young Sheldon too. Due to the pandemic, production work had to be discontinued, and the audience did not get the usual 22 episodes in a season. Instead, season three only had 21 episodes. The show might come back in late 2020 of early next year.
